University library is located at Dapoli. It caters the library, information and learning needs of the College of Agriculture, College of Horticulture, College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, and College of Forestry etc. located at university headquarter dapoli. The College of Fisheries, Ratnagiri, PG Institute of Post Harvest Technology & Management, Killa-Roha, Dist. Raigad and other research stations and agriculture schools maintain separate libraries at their respective places. The existing library of Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli started functioning in the year 1965 i.e. from the inception of the College of Agriculture, Dapoli. After the establishment of university on 18th May, 1972, the college library functioning as university library from 1st January 1986 as it received the status of a university library.

                There are two separate college libraries at the main campus at Dapoli. The university library caters to the library needs of students of B.Sc. (Agri), M.Sc. (Agri), B.Sc. (Forestry), M.Sc. Forestry and B.Sc. (Horticulture), M.Sc. (Horticulture), B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering), and research scholars of all faculties. Digital Library has been established with internet connection. Wi-Fi facility has been provided for laptop users. CCTV Web cameras have been fixed in the University Library and the entire building is under camera surveillance. RFID Technology of Document Identification, Self Check-In and Check-Out and Library Security System have been implemented for the library functions and services from 2015. The Library Advisory Committee is constituted under the Chairmanship of Director of Instruction.
